Privacy Policy

SYNRGY Creative LLC ("SYNRGY Creative", "we", "us") operates synrgycreative.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this site, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

We have written it to describe what this site actually does rather than to cover every practice a marketing agency might have. Where we do not do something, we say so.

Effective date: 20 July 2026

Who we are

SYNRGY Creative LLC 351 Paseo Nuevo, Santa Barbara, CA 93101 info@synrgycreative.com (805) 272-0088

We are the controller of the personal information described here.

What we collect

Information you give us through the contact form. First name, last name, email address, phone number, company name, company size, and whatever you write in the message field. All of it is optional in the sense that you choose whether to contact us, but the form will not submit without name, email, phone, and message.

Information you give us through the newsletter form. Your email address, and nothing else.

Information collected automatically. When you visit, our analytics provider records standard technical information: approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, time on page, and how you arrived at the site. Our servers also process your IP address transiently to enforce rate limits on the contact and newsletter forms, which is how we stop automated spam. That check happens in memory and is not written to a database.

Information we do not collect. We do not collect payment details through this site. We do not ask for or store government identifiers, health information, precise geolocation, or biometric data. We do not create accounts for visitors, so there are no visitor passwords.

Where your information actually goes

This is the part most policies leave vague, so to be specific:

Contact form submissions are not stored in our website database. When you submit the form, two things happen. The details are sent to our email provider so the enquiry reaches our inbox, and your contact record is created in our email marketing platform. Nothing is written to the site's own database.

Newsletter signups go to our email marketing platform only.

Service providers we use

We share personal information with the following providers, who process it on our behalf and under contract:

  • Intuit Mailchimp stores contact records and newsletter subscriptions.
  • Resend delivers the notification email when you submit the contact form, and delivers administrative email such as password resets.
  • Vercel hosts this website and processes standard server request data.
  • Neon provides the database that stores our website content. It does not hold contact form submissions.
  • Google Analytics 4 provides website analytics as described below.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined under California law. We have never done so.

Analytics and cookies

This site runs Google Analytics 4. It sets cookies and processes information about your visit, including a randomly generated identifier, so we can understand which pages are useful and where visitors come from. It does not tell us who you are by name.

We also set one cookie of our own: a session cookie used to keep the site administrator signed in. It is set only after an administrator logs in and is never set for ordinary visitors.

We do not currently show a cookie consent banner. If you are visiting from a jurisdiction that requires prior consent for analytics cookies, you can block them using your browser settings or Google's opt-out browser add-on. We are reviewing whether to add a consent mechanism.

You can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser. The site works without them, apart from the administrator login.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no industry-agreed standard for how a website should respond to one. This site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals, and our analytics provider continues to collect information as described above regardless of the signal. We disclose this because California law requires us to state our practice, whichever it is.

Why we process your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and correspond with you about it.
  • To send the newsletter, if you asked for it.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the website.
  • To prevent spam and abuse of our forms.
  • To comply with law.

If you are in the UK or European Economic Area, our lawful bases are: your consent for the newsletter, our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and keeping the site secure, and legal obligation where one applies.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails remain in our email account until we delete them. We review and clear old enquiry correspondence periodically.

Contact records and newsletter subscriptions stay in our email marketing platform until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you, after which the record is deleted or suppressed.

Analytics data is retained according to our provider's configured retention period.

Your choices and rights

Everyone. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in the footer of any email we send, and you can ask us to delete your contact record by emailing us.

California residents. The California Consumer Privacy Act gives residents rights to know what personal information is collected, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of sale or sharing, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We are a small business and do not currently meet the revenue or volume thresholds that make the CCPA legally applicable to us. We nonetheless honour these requests as a matter of policy, because we think you should be able to ask regardless of whether a statute compels us. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, and we do not collect sensitive personal information as that term is defined.

UK and EEA residents. You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and a right to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.

How to exercise any of these. Email info@synrgycreative.com or call (805) 272-0088. We will respond within 45 days, and usually much sooner. We may need to confirm your identity before acting, which for most requests means replying from the email address concerned. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

International transfers

We are based in the United States and our service providers process information in the United States. If you contact us from outside the US, your information will be transferred there. US law may not provide the same protections as the law where you live.

Security

Access to our systems is limited to people who need it and protected by strong authentication. Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Administrator logins are rate limited and session tokens are signed. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-party links

Our site links to other websites, including our photography portfolio hosted on Adobe Portfolio. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we link to. Read their policies.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
